Professor Ernada Fatima Avdibegović
born in Tuzla, Bosnia and Herzegovina in 1984. She graduated
from the Gazi Husrev Bey Madrasa in Sarajevo (oldest islamic highschool in Balkan) and the Faculty
of Law, and holds a Master`s degree in Social Work from the University of Sarajevo. In the last 10 years,
the NGO sector has been actively involved in projects working with youth, women and peacebuilding.
She was involved in project "Povernje Razumjevanje Odgovornost (Trust, Understanding, Responsibility for the Future) as one of the local coordinators. She was participated in events of Interreligious Network of women believers in Bosnia and Herzegovina. As a researcher she did research for the Ecumenical Initiative of Women from Omis on the topics of peace building in
BiH. She is "NO Hate speech trainer“ and she has held over 20 workshops on combating hate speech on the
Internet. She is the editor of the first Anthology of Women Believers in Northeast BiH. She is
currently a student of interreligious studies and peacebuilding in Sarajevo. She is engaged in
humanitarian work both professionally and voluntarily.
